My Handcrafted Rings

While each wooden ring is built to last, it requires some care. Avoid prolonged exposure to water and remove your ring before swimming, showering, or heavy work. To maintain its appearance, refresh it occasionally with natural wax or oil, allowing it to age beautifully over time. Each ring is finished with a handcrafted blend of natural ingredients—carnauba wax, linseed oil, turpentine, and pine oil—that enhances the wood’s beauty and provides lasting protection. This vegan-friendly finish highlights the individuality of each ring while offering a warm, organic feel that reflects the spirit of handmade craftsmanship.
My Crafting Journey
I started Burl & Grain almost by accident, inspired by both my love for wood and something personal. As a carpenter joiner, I've always worked closely with wood, but the idea of crafting natural wooden rings came to me when i wanted to create something meaningful for my partner.
It was an idea I sat on for over a year, thinking about how to make it just right. When i finally made the ring, it turned out far better than I had expected, and that moment sparked something in me. I kept making more, refining my technique, and before long people started noticing and asking if i could make rings for them too.
What began as a one-off, heartfelt project naturally grew into a business, driven by craftsmanship, creativity, and the demand from others who wanted something just as unique and personal.
